MYERS ROAD BAPTIST
COVID-19 Response
On Wednesday, March 11, Governor Jay Inslee ordered the prohibition of gatherings of more than 250 people in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties until further notice. All gatherings at Myers Road Baptist Church are currently under that limit. Unless we receive further guidance from the State of Washington Myers Road Baptist Church will continue to hold Sunday Services and other gatherings. However, we are following the guidelines recommended by the government and ask that any person attending any gathering at our church follow them as well.
-
Older and vulnerable individuals are encouraged not to attend.
-
Recommendations for social distancing and limiting close contact are met.
-
Employees or volunteers leading an event are screened for symptoms each day.
-
Proper hand washing, sanitation, and cleaning is readily available.
-
Environmental cleaning guidelines are followed (e.g., clean and disinfect high touch surfaces daily or more frequently).
To implement these guidelines, we will be doing the following:
-
Those experiencing any symptoms are encouraged not to attend.
-
Coughing
-
Body Temperature over 100.4 degrees F
-
Any cold or flu like symptoms.
-
-
Anyone exhibiting symptoms at MRBC may be asked to leave.
-
We will live stream the teaching portion of our Sunday service.
-
Our Sunday morning greeting time has been curtailed to limit contact.
-
We are cleaning high touch surface areas before every gathering.
-
We are putting out all our seating to enable more distance between people.
-
We are screening all staff for symptoms before each service.
-
We have adequate sanitation available.
We will continue to meet and hold services as long as we are able to do so by following all recommended health and safety guidelines.
Thank you and God Bless,
Jason Swofford
